There are already a lot of links within the site, which mostly relate to a specific writer or theme: if you want a site for, say, James Robert Baker or John Jakes, or for the TV animations of Gerry Anderson, you'll find them on the relevant pages.
There are, however, a couple of more general sites that I'd like to draw your attention to:
is the creator of the hugely popular Russ Tobin. This excellent site is dedicated to his work, including the first new Tobin book in quarter of a century.
the site of a new writer, whose first novel An Isolated Incident is to be published in 2005 - be the first on your block to acclaim her work.
a wonderful site dedicated to the great fictional writer, Dean Davis. Yep, you read that right: fictional writer, not writer of fiction.
more great cover scans than you could shake a stick at, even if you were a really good stick-shaker.
sell a wide range of cult and other books, including (since they're based in Australia) a lot of Australian stuff that you might otherwise struggle to find. They also operate as a small publisher.
is a guide to horror novels published by Hamlyn. (You probably could have worked this out from the title of the site.) So that's people like Nick Sharman, Guy N Smith and Gary Brandner, then. Recommended.
Pop, protest and black fiction from the counter culture era 1965-75. Early days, but this is going to be a fabulous site.
you will already know as a damn fine cult record label, founded by Mr Greg Shaw. You'll also want to look at their enormous collection of rock & roll books.
is a wonderful on-line, British bookshop. Since I'm not selling the books on my site, you may wish to visit a place where you can buy the same sort of stuff.
- 'purveyors of vintage ephemera and other neat stuff', including books. An American store that deals with a lot of similar areas to this site.
does what it says on the tine - the most comprehensive guide to spin-off books from SF TV you're ever likely to find.
has vintage paperbacks and magazines with the emphasis firmly on erotica. Includes a cover scan of Trailer Trollop, perhaps the finest book title there ever was.
is another tribute to the joys of collecting paperbacks, and has a huge collection of book covers. There's some overlap with this site, but without the prejudiced comments attached. His pictures are also somewhat higher resolution than mine, so take slightly longer to load.
is dedicated to the Gold Medal, Red Seal and Crest imprints published by Fawcett. Sounds tightly focussed, but this site boasts over 1800 cover scans.
has a particularly useful guide to gay writing.
is a great on-line second-hand bookshop. It's got an American bias, but there's a load of good stuff here.
has damn good bibliographies for science fiction, fantasy and horror writers.
is the best on-line guide to detective fiction.
is a writer specializing in novelizations. I include him here because I haven't got any of his books, but I'm very very keen to find a copy of his version of Private Schultz, possibly the best British TV series of the 1980s.
